Teaching - stewarding - supervising

I truly love teaching. I aim to practice the art of never teaching the same thing twice, but always come up with a fresh and newly informed approach. Together with fellow learners - students, co-teachers, teaching assistants and artists - I have written several texts about our explorations of what more regenerative education could look like (see publications).

Since I currently serve as the Programme Director for the International Development Studies Masters and Research Masters, I am less directly involved in working with university courses for students than previous years, except for our exploratory co-created course "Collaborative (un)Learning in IDS". I worked for almost two decades as lecturer and course coordinator in various BA, MA and PhD courses, including : RMA Re-imagining Development Studies (now: Collaborative (Un)Learning in IDS); BA Education and Inclusive Development; RMA Purpose, Portfolio and Proposal Development; RMS Situating Research in IDS; (R)MA Education, Development and Social Justice; RMR Politics of Education, Conflict and Peacebuilding, BA Introduction to IDS. 

I continue to facilitate co-created and developmental professional learning communities for fellow educators at the University of Amsterdam (see FRIS or DLC-SEE).

Within the School of Regenerative Educators, I co-facilitate the Developmental Community series together with Koen Wessels - serving an international community of regenerative pioneers working in the broad field of education and learning  (more info here).
